Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation

Ocean City Home Bank (the "Bank") believes the cornerstone of its success will always be its commitment to the community. Founded in 1887, Ocean City Home Bank offers support for a variety of civic and charitable organizations.

The Bank recognizes that in order for a community to grow and thrive, time and money must be invested in that community. Accordingly, Ocean City Home Bank promotes community events through the investment of employees' time and monetary contributions. We believe the dedication to employee volunteerism is one of the important ways to improve the well-being of our fellow citizens and have created a comprehensive employee volunteer incentive program designed to encourage and reward employee participation.

In this spirit, as part of Ocean Shore Holding Company's Initial Public Offering in December of 2004, a charitable foundation was formed and 2 million dollars in a combination of cash and Ocean Shore Holding Company stock was contributed to the foundation to provide it with an endowment. Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation will enable the Holding Company to provide even more support to community organizations and enhance the long-term value of the banking franchise. The Foundation will allow the entire community to share in the growth of Ocean City Home Bank and enhance the strong partnership the Bank has already created in the community.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Ocean City Home Charitable Foundation is to provide funding to support charitable causes within the Bank's market areas and neighboring communities. The Board of Directors of the Foundation will consider requests for grants from charitable organizations within the Bank's community. The Board will fund those projects or organizations which can demonstrate an ability to cost effectively deliver services and benefits which meet the needs of the Bank's community and are consistent with the Foundation's philosophy and mission.
